Paris Series

When I visited France in 2019, I painted almost non-stop for 3 weeks, and had a ball.  I started this new series featuring copies of antique French land deeds from 1865.  I transfered the copies onto board, tea-stained them, and treated the paper so that I could use oil paint on them.  After I completed my paintings, I added some very loose brushwork with metalic glazes over the top of them..  This series has included lots of florals, French pastries, Parisian gargoyles, and other curious items.  Enjoy!
